Elmwood Primary School is a GOOD school and as described by Ofsted (March 2018) is a nurturing, welcoming school.

Elmwood Primary School is a mainstream, friendly, child-centred, fully inclusive, family orientated school community. With over 80 years of educational history Elmwood Primary School still has that “small school feel” and remains an important part of the local community.

Elmwood Primary School is situated in South Woodham Ferrers. The classes are divided into seven individual year groups, with two classes per year group. Presently the school has 407 pupils on its roll. 

We can provide Breakfast and After-school Care in our “Woodys” club every day during term time.

Elmwood Pre-School has long been an established part of the Elmwood family and accepts children from two years old until they commence Primary school.
