School Meals

Every child in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 will receive a free school "home cooked" delicious lunch.

Our range of school meals are all "home cooked" and thoroughly enjoyed by our children.

Our catering team provide high quality, healthy foods loved and enjoyed by the children from Fish Fingers to Homemade Roast Dinners, Cheese Pizza and tasty Sausage Rolls.

All meals are served with an accompaniment such as potatoes, pasta or rice and a wide variety of vegetables and salads.

There is a wide selection of "home made" desserts including muffins, tarts, iced sponge and custard, and there is a daily alternative choice of yoghurt or a selection of fresh fruit.

Your child can have three options in respect of lunchtime arrangements:

School Dinner     -      Packed Lunch     -     Home For Lunch

If your child wishes to stay for school dinners, these currently are free for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children and cost £2.50 per day (£12.50 per week) for Key Stage 2 children.

We ask that parents order and pay for these meals in advance via Parent Pay

If you think you may be entitled to Free School Meals, please see the office staff who will be able to help you.

All food in schools must meet nutritional standards so that children have healthy, balanced diets.

This means there must be:

high quality meat, poultry or oily fish -  at least 2 portions of fruit and vegetables with every meal  -  bread, other cereals and potatoes

There can't be:

fizzy drinks, chocolate or sweets in school meals and vending machines  -  more than 2 portions of deep-fried food a week

If your child has any dietary requirements, please let a member of the Office team know and we will do our utmost to fulfil your needs. Our Catering Manager, Mrs Hunter, is happy to meet with parents to discuss such needs and is more than happy to help.
